Meet our Newest residents!
An arsonist fire displaced this lovely family, which was initially from Jacksonville. Isiah works for the Juvenile Justice detention center. Lorraine works for Walmart Pharmacy as a licensed insurance agent. They were given a moving stipend, but it was not enough and quickly left them with no options. As many of you know, or don't know affordable housing is in short supply and the rents are increasing rapidly. The money ran out in a month, and they found themselves displaced again. But GOD had other plans and sent them to New Beginnings.
We are currently working on reuniting the rest of the children with their parents now that they have a stable home to return to.
This is all because "You" the community cares enough to drop off donations, donate food, mentor our program residents, and regularly donate to our homeless ministry. When you give to New Beginnings you make the sun come out again, by helping provide a hand up!
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ Matthew 35-36.
Watch as our family enters their new residents.
